UK Says Three Attacks Occurred on Strait of Hormuz

On September 30 local time, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Office announced that it had received delayed reports of three attacks in the Strait of Hormuz.

The agency stated that upon verification, the three incidents involved a liquefied natural gas transport ship, an oil tanker entering the strait, and an crude oil tanker. All of these vessels were attacked by unknown objects. The statement did not reveal the names of the vessels that were attacked, nor did it provide details about casualties, economic losses, or the source of the attack.

The UK Maritime Trade Operations Office stated that relevant authorities are investigating these attacks. The statement advises ships to be cautious when passing through the Strait of Hormuz and to report any suspicious activities promptly.

According to the Anadolu News Agency in Turkey, as of now, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
