According to Reuters report on September 6, Russian President Putin recently drove through a forest in the Penzinga Region of Russia when he accidentally encountered a tiger.
The video captured by security personnel showed that the tiger emerged from the forest and moved in front of the presidential convoy. It ran along the road in front of the convoy for a while before leaving. Russian President's press secretary Peskov stated that for security personnel, the appearance of a wild animal near the president is almost equivalent to an emergency.
Peskov revealed that Putin at that time asked security personnel not to interfere with the tiger.

Previously, during his appearance at the Eastern Economic Forum on September 3rd, Putin shared his experience of encountering a tiger. He said, "When we were driving through a forest, a tiger suddenly appeared, moving in front of the car, wagging its tail."
Russian Baltic Federation's Administrator Oleg Koremyak said that in the early 21st century, tigers in this region were heavily hunted by poachers, causing concerns among various sectors regarding the number of tiger populations. In recent years, with the support of the Russian government and non-profit organizations, the number of tigers in the Baltic Federation has increased to 550 to 600.
