Trump Demands Ukraine Change Leadership Amid Fuel Crisis

According to Fox News, on October 10 local time, U.S. President Donald Trump warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to stop attacking Russian refineries. Trump also said it's time for Ukraine to have a new president.

On that day, before setting off for Tennessee to attend a Republican voter rally, Trump said to reporters at the White House: "It's time for Ukraine to have a new president."

He accused Zelenskyy of continuously approving attacks on Russian refineries, which has further exacerbated the global fuel crisis. “It would be better if he stopped immediately.”

Trump believes that due to the potential impact on the global energy supply, Ukraine should avoid attacking Russian refineries. “We say, ‘You can do anything you want to Russia, but don’t attack the refineries,’ because this creates a global problem.”

Trump also criticized Zelensky for failing to reach an agreement to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict. "He could have reached many agreements, but for some reason, he never did."

Trump confirmed on the 9th that Russia has agreed to supply diesel to the United States and global markets “immediately”. Subsequently, the US Department of the Treasury issued a license allowing the import of Russian diesel, with the validity period until April 7, 2027.

But Zelensky warned that the agreement could give Russia additional funds for buying weapons and continuing Russia's special military operations.
