On July 25th local time, a car crashed into a crowd in Tiergarten Park in Berlin, Germany, resulting in one death. According to Berlin police, the suspect was killed the next day in the Spandau district of Berlin.

According to reports by the BBC and Reuters, Berlin police reported that the suspect was found in the Spandau district at 18:00 local time on July 26. The suspect rushed towards the officers with a sharp object and was killed by the police.
According to the Berlin police, despite immediate rescue efforts by the Berlin Fire Department, the suspect died on the scene.
The attack occurred at around 22:00 on the 25th. Authorities reported that in addition to one female victim, 29 people were injured, some of whom suffered injuries from sharp objects used by the suspect. It is understood that the suspect is a 21-year-old German citizen named Abdul Barut. He has a history of attacks and robberies. Officials stated that he attempted to join the “Islamic State” but failed.
Local police indicate that there is currently no other suspect being sought, but it has not been ruled out that a copycat attack may occur.
