On July 23, the Nikkei xTECH website published a video in which Japanese technicians disassembled the G1 humanoid robot developed by Chinese company Yushi Technology. They tried to investigate the internal structure and technical level of the robot. The Japanese technicians exclaimed that they couldn't keep up with China's progress.

From the calf to the foot, the most significant feature is that its mechanical movement mode replicates the movement of a human ankle. Two motors drive the two metal rods connected to the ankle, causing them to move up and down. Multiple bearings are used in conjunction with these rods to change the angle of the ankle. The motor structure used in this robot is particularly noteworthy; the advanced technology can be seen from the core components.
They concluded that, at present, China's research and development of robots has clearly surpassed the stage of 'merely showing off'. In the field of humanoid robots, it is unlikely for Japan to narrow the gap with China in a short period of time.
