Iran Suspends US Talks Amid Escalation in Gaza-Lebanon Conflict

According to a report by Al Jazeera, citing Iranian media on June 1st, due to Israels ongoing military actions in Lebanon, Irans negotiation team has suspended dialogue with the United States through intermediaries.

Iranian negotiators emphasized that military operations in Gaza and Lebanon must be immediately halted.

The Israeli forces have been intensifying their attacks in Lebanon over the past few days, drawing international condemnation. Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbarzadeh posted a message on social media on June 1st, stating that any ceasefire on any frontline would be equivalent to a breach of all ceasefires across all fronts.

Alagzi pointed out that both the United States and Israel must bear responsibility for any consequences resulting from violations of the ceasefire agreement.
