On August 3th, local time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a podcast that Iran has been severely damaged and is not as powerful as before; last month, they didn’t even dare to fire at Israel.
According to reports, Netanyahu said that Iran's restraint stems from Israel's powerful strike capabilities, which are sufficient to make it "back off."
On August 4th, local time, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that Iran will defend its territory, but will not seek to continue or expand the war.
Pezhechiyan said: "Conflict, whether within a community, a city, a country, or between countries, is a disease that emerges. We will defend our borders, but we will not seek to expand war or continue it. We must work hard to build a healthy society, so that the enemy will not be tempted into it, tearing apart our social structure and destroying it."
