Small Plane Crashes in Maryland, Three Dead

According to ABC News, on June 20th, a small plane accident occurred in Maryland, USA. Search and rescue personnel found the bodies of three male victims in a woodland near a residential area. The victims were identified as pilots and two passengers.

The plane involved was a single-engine Piper Cherokee.

According to police reports, investigators have confirmed that the aircraft belonged to a flying school in Montgomery County, Maryland. Police believe that the aircraft was conducting training flights at the time.

According to reports, the aircraft took off from Ocean City, New Jersey around 11:30 PM on Eastern Time on the 20th. It was originally scheduled to fly to Montgomery County Airport in Maryland, and it crashed en route.

About 15 minutes after the plane took off, the Prince George County Public Safety Communication Center received a collision warning, indicating that a collision had occurred.

The crash site is located near a residential area in the local community. Currently, there are no reports of injuries to any people on the ground.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are leading the investigation into the cause of this crash.
