This will be Kim Min-sik's first visit to China after taking office. The Secretary's Office of the Prime Minister of South Korea stated that Kim Min-sik's visit will introduce the Korean government's vision for an "innovative economy" to the international community, create opportunities for strengthening international cooperation, and continue the positive high-level exchanges between South Korea and China. This is expected to further promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

In a recent interview with Korean media, Chinese Ambassador to South Korea Dai Bing stated that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, despite differences in political systems and stages of development, both countries have leveraged their respective advantages to carry out mutually beneficial cooperation. This cooperation has not only helped South Korea achieve its second "Han River Miracle," but also made significant contributions to China's reform, opening up, and development. Currently, there is a deep integration of industrial chains between China and South Korea, forming a community of interests in which both countries are interconnected.
