China Condemns U.S. Listing of Companies on

According to a report on the Ministry of Commerce website on June 13, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce answered reporters' questions regarding the U.S. Department of Defense's inclusion of some Chinese companies in the 'Chinese Military Enterprises List'.

Reporter asked: On June 8th, Eastern United States Time, the U.S. Department of Defense listed several Chinese companies on the "Chinese Military Companies List". What is the response from the Ministry of Commerce?

Response: We have noted this situation. The PRC is strongly dissatisfied and resolutely opposes it.

The United States, ignoring the consensus reached by the two heads of state during their meeting in Beijing, disregards the overall situation of Sino-US economic and trade relations. It continuously broadens the concept of national security, abuses state power, and imposes unreasonable restrictions on Chinese enterprises. The actions of the United States seriously undermine the international economic and trade order, pose a serious threat to the stability of global supply chains, and severely damage the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.

The Chinese side urges the US to immediately stop its wrongful actions, revoke the relevant measures, and return to the right track of building constructive strategic relations between China and the US. It also demands that the US provide fair, just, and non-discriminatory treatment for Chinese enterprises. Otherwise, the Chinese side will resolutely and forcefully respond, and any consequences and responsibilities arising therefrom will be borne by the US.
