Chinese Citizens Warned Not to Participate in Illegal Work in Israel

The WeChat public account “Taking the Museum as Home” posted an article on October 18, warning Chinese citizens not to participate in illegal work in Israel.

Chinese Citizens Warned Not to Participate in Illegal Work in Israel

Recently, a Chinese citizen was caught trying to enter Israel through an Israeli-Jordanian border crossing using forged documents. Another Chinese citizen attempted to smuggle himself into Israel from Jordan but was arrested by Jordanian law enforcement. The person who assisted him in Israel was detained, and his work visa was revoked. He has now been returned to his country of origin.

Recently, some lawbreakers have claimed that they can bring people into Israel through tourism or special channels to work there, engaging in illegal smuggling activities. These individuals have been caught by the Israeli police and immigration authorities on multiple occasions. Those who participate in such activities will face serious consequences, including imprisonment, deportation, and a permanent ban on entering Israel. Even if legal workers in Israel participate in activities such as border coordination, transportation, or providing accommodation to facilitate smuggling, they will have their work visas revoked, and they will also face detention and deportation. According to the relevant provisions of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, Chinese citizens who engage in illegal activities abroad are under the jurisdiction of Chinese judicial authorities, and Chinese judicial authorities have the right to pursue their legal responsibilities.

The Chinese embassy in Israel has specifically reminded Chinese citizens that they should use legitimate channels to work abroad, and must not enter Israel through illegal means.
