Iran Warns of Increased Weapon Capabilities

According to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency, on October 6 local time, Iran's Defense Ministry spokesman Reza Talae-Nik warned that if a new war breaks out, the Islamic Republic would use more advanced weapons for a stronger counterattack. He also announced that the country's weapon production capacity has reached 2.5 times that of before the conflict with the United States.

According to the requirements put forward by military commanders, the weapon production plan is constantly being updated to suit the development of warfare. Iran has the capability to produce over 1,000 types of weapons systems and military equipment. Some of these equipment can be upgraded according to offensive combat strategies, and their production scale can also be expanded.

He emphasized, “If the enemy still attempts to act based on their wrong judgments, they will face more advanced weapons and equipment, and receive even more severe responses.”
