Actresss Camera Stolen Near Eiffel Tower

On September 29th, actress Wan Binhui posted a message seeking help, stating that her group had experienced camera theft near the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

"Our camera was stolen while it was in use. In just 30 seconds, it disappeared without a trace."

She recalled that at that time, the photographer had placed his camera beside her. Someone approached several times and asked if he could help take photos. The photographer replied that he didn’t understand what was being asked. When he turned around, he saw that the camera was nowhere to be found.

The camera stores footage from her work throughout the day. She wonders whether such thieves would go to fixed locations to sell their goods, or if there are specialized trading groups involved.

“Or do any friends have experience of similar situations? What should I do now?”

She said that she had already reported the incident to the police, but there were no surveillance cameras in the area. She heard that thieves sometimes throw memory cards into the grass, and she has even tried to find them. However, memory cards are quite expensive, so she believes that thieves wouldn’t discard them easily.

"Why is this happening? I'm still so confused right now, it feels unreal."

Wan Tianhui felt deeply moved. After living in China for thirty-three years, she had never encountered such a situation.
