Reuters reported on May 26, citing an insider, that Michael Nedum, a senior aide to U.S. Secretary of State Blinken, as well as a advisor to the State Department and the director of the Policy Planning Office, has been promoted to Deputy Assistant for National Security Affairs to the President.
Nedhams predecessor, Robert Gabriel, resigned this month. Currently, the position of U.S. Presidents National Security Advisor is held by Rubio.
