He also mentioned the growing opportunities for trade and economic cooperation brought about by the bilateral free trade agreement between the two countries.

Speaking of global challenges, Muiz said that conflicts and unstable situations continue to affect people's lives, economies, and global markets. Muiiz said that Maldives is willing to expand its cooperation with China, further aligning the partnership with Maldives' national development priorities.
