Rodriguez said that the Venezuelan government will ensure the participation of all political forces in the elections, and official institutions are preparing for the electoral process. She said, “Venezuela has initiated a process of transformation to achieve rebirth. This is an orderly, institutionalized, and verifiable process aimed at building a country that is more free, more prosperous, and more harmonious for all people.”
Rodriguez did not disclose the specific election schedule, but she revealed that the Venezuelan government has initiated political dialogue with the opposition.
Rodriguez said that it is now the time to 'build a country that many people are willing to return to', but economic recovery will take time. She called on the international community to support Venezuela, to move it from a stage of uncertainty and conflict to a stage of full democracy.
