On September 24 local time, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said that naming a new U.S. military base in Poland after U.S. President Trump is both an act of humiliation and carries risks.
According to a report by Polish radio station RMF24, citing Westcockski's words: "This is simply disrespectful. In my opinion, proposing to name the military base 'Fort Trump' is a form of humiliation."
Sikorski pointed out, “On the other hand, there are risks involved.” He added that he prefers to name this new military base after the 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan.

On June 3, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz submitted a formal proposal to US Defense Secretary James Mattis, proposing the establishment of a new permanent U.S. military base in Poland.
This base, which is expected to accommodate approximately 5,000 military personnel, could cost more than 10 billion Polish zlotys in construction costs (approximately $2.6 billion).
