According to TASS reports on September 8 local time, Russian President's Assistant Yuri Ushakov revealed that Russian President Putin had a phone call with US President Donald Trump that lasted for an hour. During the conversation, issues such as the Ukraine crisis were discussed.
According to reports, in his conversation with Trump, Putin expressed his views on what practical measures the United States could take to hasten the end of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Ushakov emphasized that during the conversation, Putin conducted an objective analysis of the situation in the areas where 'special military operations' were carried out, as well as various prospects for achieving the objectives of the operation.
Ushakov said, “By the way, both sides also discussed what practical actions the United States could take to facilitate an early end to the conflict.”
