According to Bloomberg, on September 5 local time, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a subsidiary of the Indian Tata Group, announced that its subsidiary HyperVault and its partners plan to invest Rs 700 billion (approximately RMB 49.7 billion) in building a large artificial intelligence data center campus in southern India, aiming to accelerate their presence in this field.
TCS stated in a document that HyperVault has acquired 264 acres of land in Hyderabad, India, which will be used to build a large AI data center campus with a capacity of up to 1GW.
This industrial park will be geared toward global frontrunners in AI and large cloud service providers, offering high-density liquid cooling computing infrastructure. TCS says that the investment will be used for the construction and operation management of the infrastructure.
