According to a report on the Ministry of Defense website on September 3, in early September, the Chinese and Singaporean navies will conduct a joint exercise named “Sea Cooperation-2026” near Zhanjiang, Guangdong. The exercise will include drills such as live-fire operations, maritime supply missions, and joint search and rescue efforts. The purpose of this exercise is to further enhance mutual trust between the two countries, promote practical cooperation, and improve their ability to jointly maintain peace and stability in the region.
