Trump Sees Vance-Rubio Duo as 2028 Powerhouse

According to a report by the British newspaper The Guardian on March 3, U.S. President Donald Trump stated in a podcast called Pod Force One that he believes the political combination of Vice President Wilson and Secretary of State Rubio is promising. He claimed that if both individuals work together in the 2028 elections, no one will be able to stand against them.

Reports indicate that both Vance and Rubio are now considered strong candidates for the Republican Partys presidential nomination in 2028. Although both have recently downplayed their intentions to run, Trump has been frequently signaling his plans regarding his successor.

In my opinion, with Vance and Rubio as the candidates, its difficult for anyone to win, Trump said in an interview with the shows host and writer, Miranda Devine.

He added that interpersonal relationships are quite delicate. I have observed how they work together; they get along very well.

Recently, Vance and Rubio took turns appearing at White House press conferences, defending a series of policies implemented by the current administration. These policies included measures to address the declining public support for military actions abroad. Some observers noted that Rubios performance during recent White House briefings has attracted attention from within the Republican Party as well as some Democrats.

Currently, there is still some time left before the presidential elections in November 2028. While various parties are still waiting to see what will happen next, some individuals have already announced their intention to run for office.

On May 27th, Gurney, the screenwriter of the American animated series The Simpsons who predicted Trumps election as president, and a Emmy Award winner, announced his candidacy for President of the United States in 2028. Two days before his candidacy began (on May 25th), Gurney posted a message saying, The crisis we face is far more complex than just Trump, Vance, the billionaires, and the Republican Party. Those weak Democrats refuse to stand up and fight for our interests, even when they have the opportunity.

Additionally, former U.S. Vice President Harris also stated during an event in April that she may and is considering participating in the 2028 presidential elections.

She said that the current political and economic situation has disappointed many Americans. I spent countless hours in the offices on the west side of the White House, just a few steps away from the Oval Office. I also spent countless hours in the Oval Office and the Situation Room. I know what this job means, and I know what it requires.
