According to the Ukrainian National News Agency, on August 28 local time, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander to discuss issues related to weapon supplies and combat objectives against Russia.
Later, Zelenskyy posted on social media: "I held a meeting today. The focus was on using our weapons to the fullest extent to defend against Russian attacks. The main goal is to defend against 'Shahd' drones and to conduct more frequent precision strikes against Russia."
He stated that the goal is to deploy 1,000 drones daily for remote strikes against Russia.
Zelensky also said that currently, Ukraine conducts more than 300 remote strikes against Russia per day on average, “but it should be even more.”
He reiterated: We have a very clear objective, and we will definitely complete this task.
