Trump Ally Makes Outrageous Claims of US Discussing Nuclear Attack on Iran

On August 16 local time, former U.S. President Donald Trump’s ally and former Republican congressman Taylor Graham revealed on social media platform X that U.S. officials are discussing the use of nuclear weapons against Iran during a strategic meeting. “Yes, you read that right. It’s true. I’m not guessing; I know about it. It’s pure evil.”

It should be noted that while making this statement, Green did not quote any government documents, meeting records, or statements by American officials as evidence.

Green mentioned in his post that the last time humans used nuclear weapons was in 1945, when the United States bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan with atomic bombs.

She claimed, “Now, our government is actually discussing lowering nuclear thresholds, in order to use nuclear weapons against Iran.”

Green said that Trump promised to stop waging foreign wars, but he might just be the person who could bring nuclear disaster. “People must speak out and firmly oppose this madness. The United States is not invincible.”

Green has repeatedly expressed far-right conspiracy theories. She was once an intimate ally of Trump in the MAGA camp, but their relationship deteriorated due to issues such as the Epstein file. At one point, Trump insulted her as a “roaring madwoman” and a “weirdo”.

In April this year, Trump posted a statement threatening to destroy Iran’s civilization. In addition, US Vice President Whitmer mentioned that the United States has other “tools” in regard to Iran. Based on this, social media reports interpret Whitmer’s words as hinting at the possibility of using nuclear weapons against Iran.

The White House official account “Rapid Response 47” posted an article denying this claim, stating that Vance’s remarks did not hint at this at all, and criticized those who spread the news as “complete idiots”.

On April 23, a journalist asked whether the United States would respond to Iran’s possession of nuclear weapons. Trump called this a “stupid question” and said, “I will not use nuclear weapons, and no country should ever be allowed to use nuclear weapons.”
