Reports indicate that in the past year, the Afghan Taliban has gradually increased its diplomatic openness.
In the statement, the Afghan Taliban described taking power on August 15, 2021 as "a great victory and a liberation from foreign oppression".
On the day of the declaration, a grand event was held in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the end of the Afghan War.
In recent years, terrorist attacks have occurred frequently in Afghanistan, and conflicts with neighboring Pakistan are also frequent. In a statement commemorating its fifth anniversary in power, the Afghan Taliban promised that their territory would never be used to attack other countries in response to Pakistan.
