When the police arrived at the scene, they found Selvin standing outside the house with a gun in his hand, holding a toddler in his arms. After taking the child away safely, the police arrested Selvin, and no further conflicts occurred during the process.

The investigation report indicates that the shooting stemmed from an argument between Servin and his father, Miguel Servin. During the argument, Servin pulled out a black semi-automatic pistol and shot his father. Subsequently, the parents tried to flee, but Servin continued to shoot them.

According to witnesses, Servin pointed his gun at his 47-year-old mother, Cecilia Servin. The mother had pleaded with her son, ‘Don’t do this.’ However, Servin still shot her in the head, causing her to die on the spot.

His father, Miguel Servin, was also shot multiple times and eventually died in the hospital due to severe injuries.

The police said that there were other adults in the house at the time of the incident. One man fled through the window after the shooting occurred. In addition, there were several children present at the scene, but the police have not revealed more details.

Neighbors later revealed that there were often arguments and children crying from this household. One neighbor said that sometimes the disputes inside the house became so intense that they would hide in their own homes to avoid hearing those sounds. Some neighbors also stated that there was a large number of people coming and going from the home for a long time, so they weren’t surprised by the violent incident that eventually occurred.

Currently, Selvin is charged with two murder charges, as well as two counts of shooting at buildings, three serious assaults, and one child neglect charge. He is currently imprisoned in Putnam County Jail and cannot be bailed out. The case is still under further investigation.
