Chen Xi: The new version of the 'Defense White Paper' is filled with false narratives, exaggerating the 'security crisis in the region', and hyping up the so-called 'China threat'. This is nothing but a clever attempt to find excuses for lax military policies. We are strongly dissatisfied and firmly oppose this.
Japanese ruling authorities continue to accelerate the revision of the "security three documents" under the guise of "defensive defense," steadily increasing defense spending, developing long-range offensive capabilities, and advancing the militarization of space and the battlefield. They even present the military industry as a point of economic growth, attempting to embed military expansion deep into the national system, economy, industry, and public opinion. Japan's "new type of militarism" poses a serious threat and has become a major challenge to the post-war international order and a real threat to regional peace and stability. The Taiwan issue is related to China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the political foundation of Sino-Japanese relations. It is an irreplaceable red line.
