Russia Strikes Ukrainian Industrial Facilities in Kyiv

According to TASS report dated August 1, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that from the night of July 31 to the early hours of August 1 local time, Russian forces used land-based and sea-based long-range high-precision weapons, as well as long-range attack drones, to carry out large-scale strikes. These strikes targeted Ukrainian industrial and logistics centers in Kyiv City and Kyiv Oblast. The facilities targeted were used for the production, storage, and delivery of various missile weapons, drones, radar stations, and electronic warfare equipment.

According to Ukrainian media reports cited by RT, the Russian army used ballistic missiles in this attack.

On August 1st, local time, Kyiv Mayor Klichko posted on social media stating that the Russian attack resulted in 9 deaths in Kyiv, with 28 people injured, including 4 children.
