According to sources cited by Russian TASS on July 28, U.S. Special Ambassador Weterkov and Trump's son-in-law Kushner may visit Russia in the coming weeks, but there is still no final confirmation.

Earlier on the 28th, a Ukrainian official told the American newspaper The Hill that Vitkovskiy and Kushner are discussing the matter of visiting Ukraine. This move could revitalize the diplomatic efforts by the United States to end the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. If they actually travel, it would be the first time in Trump’s second term that both have visited Ukraine.
In March of this year, Witkow and Kushner met with Russian President's special representative Dmitriev in Florida, USA.
Ukraine's President Zelenskyy discussed the prospects of restarting peace talks with Russia with Witkow and Kushner last week, and stated that Ukrainian and American officials may meet in the United States in the coming days.
Zelenskyy arrived in the United States on the 28th to attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham and met with Trump.
