Putin Addresses Boldness in Military Operations Amidst Increased Sanctions

On July 27th, local time, regarding the proposal to take bolder actions during special military operations, Russian President Putin stated that there are risks involved, and the cost would be a loss for Russia.

According to Russian News Agency and RT, on July 27 local time, Putin met with members of the eighth Duma at the Kremlin Palace. He summarized their work over the past five years and awarded them prizes.

Putin told the parliamentarians, "I will reveal a secret. This colleague, please don’t be angry with me. At the award ceremony, one of the winners whispered to me, 'We will win, but we need to be bolder. We really want to do that.' And then the question followed: 'Bolder?'"

Putin continued, "Just like in the economic field, there are also risks involved. These risks often come at the cost of our losses on the battlefield. Therefore, we will also act cautiously on this issue, while firmly advancing the established national goals, and we will ultimately achieve these goals."

On that day, Putin stated that since 2022, the West has fully launched anti-Russian measures, setting new records in terms of the number and uselessness of sanctions against Russia.

He also said, “(Russians enemies) cannot defeat Russia on the battlefield, so they turn to outright terrorist methods against our people. But the Russian people will never be defeated; it has never happened in the past, and will never happen in the future.”
