A French professional model was found dead in her home near Paris on Monday. For over a decade, she arranged meetings between several models and Epstein.
French Nanterre Judicial Court Deputy Prosecutor Marie-Céline Lawrysz stated to CNN on Wednesday that Daniel Siad’s body was found in his residence in Colombes, a suburb of Paris, on Monday.
The relevant departments will conduct an autopsy on the remains to determine the cause of death.
CNN reporter Katie Polglase recently interviewed Shai, who said he had no reason to believe that the two women he introduced to Epstein were abused by him. The two women later told CNN that they had been sexually assaulted by Epstein.
Even after Epstein was convicted for sexual crimes in 2008, fashion and modeling industry professionals including Saeed continued to seek business partnerships with him, inviting him to fashion events, and allowing him to maintain contact with their companies.
Yaa West said that Epstein had assured him that he had paid the price for the crimes he had committed in the past, and that “such things would never happen to anyone else that Yaa West introduced to him”.
He said, “I believe in him, and I think this person is a professional. I have never heard from any of the people I introduced to him that they experienced anything bad. I believe this person is a professional.”
Yasid said that he always believed Epstein was the casting director for Victoria’s Secret and the modeling agency MC2. However, CNN stated that they found no evidence to support this claim.
Documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice show that Epstein paid tens of thousands of dollars to Siad.
In one of the messages, Siad wrote: "There's a lovely French girl in Marrakech... she said she would be happy to meet you."
Said also mentioned that Epstein had asked him to help find an assistant.
In an email in 2018, Siyad wrote that he was looking for a "young and beautiful assistant" for Epstein.
In another message, Siad sent Epstein a photo of a woman, describing her as “very polite,” and stating that she had the potential to become a “model” or an “assistant.”

According to documents from the United States Department of Justice, Siyad sent photographs of young women he met during his travels to Epstein. Some of the photos showed the women in positions that were clearly suggestive.
According to CNN-owned media BFMTV, the name 'Siyad' appears more than 2,000 times in the documents related to Epstein from the United States Department of Justice.
The relationship between Epstein and the modeling industry is still part of an ongoing investigation. This includes a criminal investigation launched in Paris this year. The chief prosecutor in Paris stated that the investigation is examining information related to Siad.
In addition, Siad himself is also facing accusations of abuse. A model claimed that she was raped by Siad while working in France in 1990. Siad denies these accusations.
