According to a report by Japan's Shizuoka Asahi TV, a fire broke out at a shipbuilding factory in the Mibaku area of Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, around 8:50 am local time on August 21.
Employees inside the factory urgently reported to the fire department, stating that a large ship undergoing maintenance work in the dock suddenly caught fire, and thick smoke quickly spread throughout the ship's cabin.

According to the latest report from the local fire department, this accident has resulted in the death of a person who was allegedly working on the ship. The deceased was a male worker who was found to be in a cardiac and respiratory arrest. Additionally, at least four other injured people have been sent to nearby hospitals for treatment, and their injuries are still being evaluated.
Currently, the cause of the accident remains under further investigation. Rescue and subsequent recovery efforts are still ongoing.
