Ukraine Invited to Visit China, Seeking Stronger Ties

According to a press release issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 7, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Serhii Serhivych stated that he had received an invitation from China to visit China.

He said: “Ukraine intends to strengthen its bilateral relations with China... The date of the visit is currently being determined. We welcome China to play a more active role in achieving peace.”

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit is currently being held in Ankara, Turkey. Sbergi made the statement at an event outside of the Munich Security Conference and the Turkish SETA Foundation's joint event titled "Role Swapping: Ukraine as a Guarantor of European Security—Revisiting Dependence."
