Specifically, the South Korean government plans to develop a self-developed low-earth orbit satellite communication network by 2035. In addition, South Korea will launch a private small lunar module using its self-developed carrier rocket "Nuri" in 2030. Subsequently, in 2032, the lunar module will be launched using the next-generation launch vehicle developed by the National Aerospace Agency. The goal is to move the lunar landing date from 2032 to 2030.
In addition, the South Korean government also plans to launch a lunar orbit communication satellite in 2029. By 2031, through the launch of Earth and lunar probes, South Korea will fully embark on its lunar exploration era.
