Guo Jiaqun introduced that Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway are among the European countries that recognized New China and established diplomatic relations with it early on, and they have a deep history of friendship with China. In recent years, relations between China and these four countries have developed steadily. There have been fruitful cooperation outcomes in areas such as green transformation, trade and investment, and technological innovation. There is broad consensus among these countries on maintaining multilateralism and free trade, as well as jointly addressing global challenges like climate change. During the visit, Foreign Minister Wang Yi will hold talks with the foreign ministers of these four countries to exchange in-depth views on bilateral relations and international and regional issues of common concern.
Denmark is China's comprehensive strategic partner in Northern Europe. This visit marks the first time in 15 years that a Chinese Foreign Minister has visited Denmark. It is also the first face-to-face meeting between high-level officials of the two countries after the establishment of the new Danish government. The Chinese side looks forward to strengthening mutual trust, expanding cooperation, and enhancing friendship through this visit, thereby paving a new path for the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Denmark.

There has been close high-level exchanges between the two countries, and fruitful practical cooperation in various fields has been achieved. The Chinese side looks forward to implementing the important consensus reached by the two leaders through this visit, thereby injecting new momentum into the development of China-Finnish partnership.
Norway is one of the first countries to recognize China's market economy status. In 2024, Prime Minister Stoltenberg visited China on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Norwegian-China diplomatic relations, which significantly promoted the development of bilateral relations. The Chinese side looks forward to implementing the important consensus reached by the two leaders through this visit, and to engaging in in-depth discussions on bilateral and multilateral issues such as green transformation and global governance, thereby promoting the continued and stable development of Sino-Norwegian relations.
