Talal said that this operation is in response to several terrorist attacks that occurred recently in Pakistan. On the 28th, security forces carried out an operation in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, killing a Baitullah Mehsud commander and three militants.
He revealed that security forces subsequently carried out precise attacks on several Baitullah forces located along the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. They also killed 25 militants and destroyed three targets in Afghanistan, as well as a large amount of weapons and ammunition.

Pakistan has demanded that the Afghan interim government quickly remove terrorist organizations' strongholds from Afghanistan, especially facilities related to the Taliban organization.
