On May 30th, local time, Israels National Security Minister Ben Gvir announced in the northern border town of Shtula that he intended to eliminate the Dahiye area in southern Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
Ben-Gevir said, More than 600 armed members of Hezbollah have been eliminated over the past few weeks. But thats not enough. Dahiye is crucial to them. We must eliminate them completely.
