Al-Aragzi said, “We discussed all issues from Europe to West Asia, including Lebanon, Palestine, Ukraine, and Yemen. We also focused on expanding economic and nuclear cooperation.”

After the implementation of the comprehensive strategic agreement, the bilateral relations have taken a new step forward. During Lavrov's visit, both sides discussed the development of regional and international situations. In the area of bilateral relations, practical plans were explored to expand political, cultural, and economic relations.
Lavrov said that through joint committees and cooperation between public and private sectors, bilateral trade volume has significantly increased. Despite the severe international situation, Russia has no intention of changing its investment agreements with Iran. The deployment of the Russian technical team at the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran is continuing.
