According to Reuters, on October 11, the Houthi armed forces in Yemen once again warned airlines, airport staff, and passengers not to use airports in Saudi Arabia.
Hu Sài Wǔ Zhào Biǎozhǐ: “These places are easy targets and have become battlefields for our military operations.”
Hussein forces also urged everyone to "take our warnings seriously", and stated that "Saudi Arabia is responsible for the failed attempts to intervene".
On the same day, the Houthi armed forces also issued a statement stating that if Saudi Arabia continued military actions against them, the Houthi armed forces would respond based on the principle of reciprocity. The statement said that since the attack on Sana’a International Airport in Yemen on July 13 this year, dozens of people have died and hundreds have been injured, and infrastructure has been damaged.
The statement accuses Saudi Arabia of ignoring calls to lift the blockade and stop attacks on Sanaa International Airport for a long time, and warns that continued hostile actions against the Houthi forces will cause strategic losses to Saudi Arabia. The statement concludes by warning that if Saudi Arabia does not stop its military intervention against the Houthi forces, the situation may further escalate.
The day before, the Houthi militia attacked King Fahd International Airport in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, resulting in at least 12 deaths and about 309 injuries.
