October 9th, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning presided over a regular press conference.
On October 6th local time, CNN reported that Chinese and American officials have been discussing the possibility of mutual visits to nuclear-related facilities over the past few months, including the National Laboratories of the U.S. Department of Energy and corresponding facilities in China. At the meeting, a AFP reporter asked questions regarding this matter.
Regarding this, Mao Ning stated: “The reports and facts do not match.”
