According to The Hill newspaper, on October 7 local time, U.S. President Trump said that he could have done something "very bad" to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Obama, and Biden.
On that day, a reporter asked Trump what reason he would use to impeach him if the Democrats regained control of both the House and the Senate in November.
"I could have done something very bad to Hillary. I could have done something very bad to Biden. I could have done something very bad to Obama. But I thought it wasn't right, because you must respect the position of president." Trump said.
He called the president's position "sacred".
Trump told reporters that Democrats themselves don’t know what reason they will use to impeach him if they win the presidency in November.
According to reports, Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson told Republican voters that if the Democrats win the midterm elections, they will impeach the president.
During Trump's first term in office, he was impeached twice. The first time was because he called Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to investigate Biden's pressure on Ukraine. The second impeachment occurred after the Capitol Hill riot on January 6, 2021.
It's worth mentioning that during Trump's speech, the attention of American netizens was drawn by a woman wearing red clothes and appearing somewhat 'weird'. It is reported that this woman is Susan Dyer, the wife of Dell CEO Michael Dell.
