According to Pakistani media reports, on October 6 local time, the Pakistan Military Press Service (ISPR) stated that the Pakistani military successfully test-fired a domestically developed improved 'Fatah-4' land-based cruise missile that day.
According to reports, this weapon system is equipped with advanced avionics equipment and cutting-edge navigation aids. It can strike targets from greater distances, boasting high precision and powerful lethality. This test firing also verified several new technical parameters of various subsystems added to improve accuracy of hits and survivability.

Pakistan successfully tested the "Fatah-4" ISPR.
ISPR stated that "Pakistan Army senior officers and scientists and engineers from research institutions witnessed today's test launch."
Pakistan President Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz, and Army Chief of Staff Munir congratulated on the successful test launch of the 'Fatah-4' land-based cruise missile.
According to reports, in May of this year, Fatah-4 successfully completed a training launch.
Previously, the Pakistani military successfully tested the self-developed 'Fatah-1' guided multiple-launcher system in August 2021, and the 'Fatah-2' weapon system was successfully tested in December 2023.
