According to Vietnamese news website VnExpress, the National Securities Commission of Vietnam is studying the cancellation of midday market closures and the relaxation of daily price limit restrictions for individual stocks.
On October 6th local time, Huang Wenqiu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam National Securities Commission, stated that the agency is studying adjustments to trading times and methods.

According to him, improving organizational and transaction mechanisms aims to enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and provide convenience for investors.
He said: "The top priority when formulating policies is ensuring system security, smooth transactions, and market stability."
According to reports, the committee is requesting securities exchanges to assess the implications. Subsequently, regulatory authorities will develop a plan and announce it, so that all market participants have sufficient time to prepare and adapt. However, the regulatory authorities have not yet specified the exact timing for implementing these changes.
