Vance: Trump Reported Epstein, Claims He Hates Trump More Than Anyone

The US Vice President Wants once again defended the relationship between President Trump and the late wealthy businessman Epstein, claiming that Trump not only drove Epstein out of the Lakeside Manor but also reported him to the local police. He stated, “Perhaps no one in the world hates Trump more than Epstein.”

According to Fox News in the United States on October 2nd, Vance made these statements during the 'Hannity' show the previous day.

When talking about the Epstein-related documents that have been controversial recently, Vance said that if one carefully reviews the relevant materials, it becomes clear that Trump not only expelled Epstein from his club, but also reported the situation to the local police because he considered Epstein to be a "disgusting person".

Wanst then emphasized that Epstein later “hated” Trump, and said, “Perhaps no one in the world hates Donald Trump more than Jeffrey Epstein.”

The claim that Trump once "reported" Epstein has caused controversy before.

A document released by the FBI in February this year indicates that former Palm Beach, Florida police chief Michael Wright said during an interview in 2019 that Trump had called him in July 2006. At that time, the police were already investigating Epstein.

According to Wright, Trump said in the phone call, "Thank God, you're stopping him," and added that "everyone knows he's been doing this all along." Trump also claimed that he had driven Epstein away from Lakeside Manor.

Reuters noted that this document records the statements Wright made to the FBI in 2019, not the contemporaneous records from the conversation between Trump and him in 2006. The US Department of Justice also stated that no other evidence has been found to support Wright’s description of that conversation. Wright himself confirmed to the Miami Herald that he indeed made the aforementioned statements to the FBI.

Trump and Epstein had a relationship in the past. Trump has repeatedly stated that the two had fallen out, and denied knowing anything about Epstein's criminal activities. Since the beginning of this year, as the U.S. government has gradually made public a large number of documents related to Epstein's case, Trump's relationship with Epstein has once again become a focus of public attention in the United States.
