China Responds to US Claims of Chinese Intelligence Activities

On June 11, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian presided over a regular press conference. A AFP reporter asked about the announcement by the United States that it has seized 13 Internet domain names, stating that these domains were used by Chinese intelligence agencies to obtain information from individuals in the US with security review authority. What is China's response to this?

"I don't understand the specific details you mentioned." Lin Jian stated, "China has always opposed spreading rumors and accusations of 'Chinese spies', which is a smear campaign. In fact, it's the US itself that engages in spying activities and intelligence collection on a global scale."
