Guo Jiaqun stated that from September 23 to 25, at the invitation of President Trump, President Xi Jinping successfully conducted an official visit to the United States. The two heads of state exchanged in-depth views on issues related to Sino-US relations and world peace and development. They reached a series of important agreements regarding the establishment of constructive strategic stability relations between China and the United States based on respect, fairness, and equality. Both sides agreed to support each other in hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum Leaders’ Meeting and the G20 Summit.
