On September 26 local time, when Hungarian Prime Minister Mátyás Miklós spoke in Sorok, a man threw an egg at Mátyás Miklós from behind the stage, causing the speech to be interrupted for a moment. According to the Hungarian Daily News, the man involved has been arrested by Hungarian police.
Májai is currently conducting a nationwide speech tour, scheduled to visit the capitals of 15 states. Sörnoke is the third stop on Májai's itinerary. At the time of the incident, he was speaking to supporters in the square, reiterating several government plans, including imposing a wealth tax on wealthy individuals with assets exceeding 1 billion Hungarian forints and promoting constitutional reforms in Hungary.
Reports said that shortly after the speech began, someone suddenly threw eggs at Mao Jiaoer. At first, Mao Jiaoer thought someone had spilled drinks on him and shouted to the audience, “I want to ask those who oppose this to not spill drinks, because there are many civilians here. I don’t think elderly people or children should be poured water or beer on them. If you really want to throw things at me, then come up.”

Afterward, Mao Jiao tried to continue his speech, but shouts from the crowd interrupted him. Security personnel later determined that someone had thrown an egg at Mao Jiao.
The footage showed that the man suspected of throwing the egg was quickly detained by plain-clothed police. He tried to resist, but was subdued to the ground. The man claimed that he regretted not hitting Mao Jiaoer in the head.

After the incident, Máfar posted on social media, blaming the supporters of Fidesz, led by former Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán, for the incident. He wrote, “Eggs are delicious. I suggest that if the supporters of Fidesz decide to throw things at people, they should first practice throwing small objects.” He called on the public not to throw eggs or other food, and urged Hungarians to “respect their fellow citizens and the country.”
This is the third similar protest incident that Mao Chiao has encountered due to governance issues in recent times. In July this year, during a press conference on railway development at the Western Railway Station in Budapest, a passerby spat saliva onto his back. On September 19th, a man threw wine at Mao Chiao in the town of Sekedar, expressing personal hostility and dissatisfaction with his policies.
