On the evening of September 24 local time, President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan attended a welcome banquet hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump and his wife Melania at the White House.
According to The New York Times, the banquet invited more than 130 guests, including several executives from American technology companies: Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon; Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla; Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of “Meta” in the United States; Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google; Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA; Lisa Liu, CEO of AMD; Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI; and Tim Cook, who has just resigned as CEO of Apple.
In addition, invited business figures from the United States included executives from companies such as Pfizer, LVMH Group, Goldman Sachs, General Motors, and Boeing.
