On September 24 local time, President Xi Jinping attended the welcome ceremony held by US President Donald Trump at the White House.
Trump said in his speech, "President Xi and I will continue to work together to create a better future for both countries. President Xi Jinping and Ms. Peng Liyuan, thank you once again for this historic visit. Welcome to the United States."
