According to the Jerusalem Post, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during the New Year’s Eve celebration that the fate of the Iranian regime is nearing its end, and its collapse will ‘change the fate of the Middle East and the Jews’. This statement was made on September 6 local time.
He also implied that Israel is continuing to take action against Iran in order to bring down that regime, and stated that he is “determined to do this.”
Netanyahu said that Israel is in its most powerful period in history, and its enemies are weaker than ever.
"Together with the United States, we have achieved significant progress in eliminating threats to existence hanging over our heads." he said.
He continued saying, “We are resolved to defend ourselves, and resolved to strike our enemies.”
Netanyahu warned Iran, "Don’t oppose us. We know how to stand together in difficult times, and Israel is currently the most powerful force in the Middle East."
Netanyahu has often spoken in a tough manner regarding the issue of Iran.
According to the Israeli Times, on September 3, during a toast event at the Israeli military headquarters, Netanyahu stated that Israel's 'core mission' is to overthrow the Iranian regime, and this goal is 'within reach'.
