China Conducts Combat Readiness Patrols in South China Sea

According to the WeChat official account “South China Sea Fleet,” on September 2, the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army organized naval and air forces to conduct combat readiness patrols in the waters and airspace around Huangyan Island. Huangyan Island is an inherent part of China’s territory. Since August, the military forces have continuously strengthened patrols in the waters and airspace surrounding Huangyan Island, further enhancing control over these areas. This measure effectively responds to any acts of infringement or provocation, firmly defending national sovereignty and security, and maintaining peace and stability in the South China Sea region.
